Tackle Box? More like Snackle Box!

With five lakes just 20 minutes from home, we’re lucky to have so many chances to get out on the water. Adam is all about bass fishing, and the kids are always up for a boat ride—especially when snacks are involved.

This time, I decided to change things up and make a snackle box! I grabbed one of Adam’s old tackle boxes and filled it with snacks we already had on hand. Fruit, yogurt-covered raisins, Pirate’s Booty (a forever favorite), string cheese, cheez-it, goldfish, dried veggies pretzel sticks with Nutella (risky, I know—especially after Adam just redid the boat carpet). But hey, worth it.

The kids loved it. It made snack time extra fun, and not a crumb was left behind. Definitely doing this again for our next lake day!

Just a reminder that even when it looks picture-perfect… someone’s probably crying off camera. or in this case, very much on camera.
